Sultanhan hotel is located in the heart of Istanbul's historical area Sultanahmet. The building was a government house and now has been restored as a "Boutique Hotel", impressive large lobby of around 400 square metres in size with 5 meters high ceilings. The Lobby is decorated with Ottoman Empire style textiles and 150 years old original historical wooden pieces.
Thanks to its central location, most of the historical sites like Topkapi Palace, Saint Sophia, Blue Mosque, Underground Cistern, Turkish and Islamic Art Museum, Hippodromes, and Grand Bazaar are reachable in only 10 minutes on foot. The hotel also provides 24 hours room service in addition to secretarial, laundry and pressing services for its distinguished guests.
